Today was the 10 for 10 sale at Meijer. I love it when they have this sale. The pantry is full of snacks: pretzels, combos, chex mix. I was able to get about 4 items for FREE: Chicken Broth, Betty Crocker snack cake, and Cough drops.
There were 75 items that I purchased.

2009 Savings of $1,495 with coupons!!!
2009 has flown by!!!
I wasn't as dedicated to couponing as I have been in the previous year but still the savings has been great! I am still proud of what I was able to save.
In 2009, we spent$5,240 on groceries and SAVED $1,495. NOT TOO SHABBY!!!
There was one lost month of May that I couldn't find spending or savings.
This equals an average of $476 a month on groceries and savings of $135 a month of savings!!
Shopping the sales and applying coupons to the sales is WORTH it!!!

I haven't been as good at keeping you informed of my weekly purchases. But I have the overall purchases for December.
